Welcome to Ataraxia Spanish. These Terms and Booking Policies outline the rules and regulations for using our services.
1. General Terms
Ataraxia Spanish is an independent online Spanish teaching service. By accessing this website and booking lessons, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Lesson Format
- Standard lessons are 50 minutes in duration.
- Lessons are conducted online via video conferencing software.
- It is the student's responsibility to ensure a stable internet connection.
3. Booking and Rescheduling Policy
We strive to be flexible while respecting the teacher's time:
- Lessons must be scheduled and paid for in advance through the booking system.
- Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule a lesson, please request the change at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time.
- Late Changes: Rescheduling requests made with less than 12 hours' notice, or failure to attend a scheduled lesson (no-show), may count as a used lesson, and refunds will not be provided for that session.
- Exceptions: Exceptional emergencies (medical issues, power outages) may be handled manually at the teacher's discretion.
4. Payments
Payment is collected in US dollars at the time of booking through PayPal. Ataraxia Spanish does not require recurring subscriptions and does not store your card or bank-account details.
5. Educational Content
The materials, articles, and quizzes on this website are the intellectual property of Ataraxia Spanish and are provided for personal educational use only. They may not be redistributed or sold.
Please note that completion of lessons or the Level Check does not constitute official CEFR certification or academic accreditation.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page.
